Students will have reading homework each night. 20 minutes of reading each night is vital to your child's academic language and vocabulary development! (See infographic.)
Students will also have spelling homework each night. The description of activities can be found in your child's homework folder. These activities are due every Friday.
Students will write their homework and any other important notes in their homework folder. Each day students will receive a behavior dot in their homework folder. These dots will let you know the type of day your child had. Purple = I had a fabulous day with outstanding behavior! Green = I had a good day! Yellow = I received more than 1 warning for a specific behavior. Red = I did not have a fabulous day at all, and you will know about it before I get home! Homework/behavior logs are to be initialed each night.
